“I want to fail”
This is what I tell myself at the gym - every rep, every set…
…because I truly want to fail.
In fact, I eagerly look forward to it with enthusiasm.
You might think I’m crazy.
I am.
But I’m crazy with a purpose.
When I lift weights, I’d tire my muscles out…
…until I can’t lift them anymore.
I’d go all in…
…and FAIL.
Then start over.
And fail AGAIN.
Set after set.
Rep after rep.
When I fail, I successfully create micro tears in my muscles.
When the torn fibers heal, they grow back even stronger and larger than before.
If you’re working out to gain muscle, this is an important strategy you’ll need to follow to see results.
I’m no fitness expert. But I’ve seen this work for numerous people, including me.
Whether you’re working out at the gym or dealing with life…
Failure is a CATALYST for growth and success.
If you fail one hundred times, you’ve SUCCESSFULLY GAINED the wisdom and knowledge of one hundred ways something DOESN’T work.
ONE HUNDRED lessons learned to make your next attempt EVEN BETTER.
One hundred lessons to guide and inspire others.
It’s not easy.
You don’t get that with success.
Failure keeps you in the race.
Failure keeps you going, because you have something to look forward to - another opportunity to demonstrate your strength.
It makes you resilient.
Failure is where growth is.
Struggle is an inherent part of that transformation.
You already know this intuitively.
You've demonstrated your strength numerous times in the past.
Treat this as a gentle reminder.
Don’t attach an emotion to failure and get bogged down.
It’s not the end of the world.
Every cloud passes.
What hurts you can ONLY make your stronger.
The sun always rises - nobody can stop it.
Be unstoppable 👊
